Call for Proposals

We welcome you to submit a proposal that encompasses the ideas of connection, togetherness, and unity. Exemplary proposals should address community and personal connections created through the arts, illustrate ideas through a socially just and equitable lens, and focus on issues that impact a diverse range of practitioners and organizations.

How to Submit:

  • Complete the Call for Proposals form by Monday, January 14, 2019.
  • Submissions must include a session title and description, presenter information, and a description of how the presentation aligns with the conference theme.
  • Applicants will be informed by Friday, February 1st, 2019 with the status of their presentation proposal.

Call for Artists

Current students, alumni, and faculty of Seattle University's MFA in Arts Leadership program are invited to exhibit artwork as part of the 2019 Arts Leadership Conference. All work will be displayed in Vachon Gallery from February 15 to March 2nd, with a closing reception on the evening of Friday, March 1st. All mediums and methods are welcome.

How to Submit:

  • Email your submissions to the Arts Committee at seattleumfa@gmail.com with the subject 'Courageous Arts Leadership in Turbulent Times-Submission'
  • Include an artist statement and brief description of the work(s), work dimensions, and installation/de-installation needs
  • Visual Artists may submit up to 3 works for the exhibition. 4 images maximum for each submission.
  • Performance Artists may submit concept and examples of past works. 

Submissions will not be accepted after January 7th, 2019. Artists will be informed by January 11th, 2019 with more information.
