Private Practice Seminar

Private Practice Seminar, 2019

Presented by Victoria Wantuck, MA, LMHCA

The seminar will provide an opportunity for everyone to make professional connections, ask questions, and discuss the ins and outs when starting a private practice as an LMHCA. We will review the beginning steps needed in launching your practice:

  • possible business structure
  • naming your practice
  • licensing and registration
  • malpractice insurance
  • supervision
  • office subleasing
  • practice management
  • communications
  • marketing
  • finding a niche

In this seminar you will receive:

  • A packet with all the resources needed to launch your own private practice; along with personal recommendations that I've found helpful along the way thus far.
  • Sample forms that you could use as an example in creating your own disclosure statements, intake forms, ROI's, and a few more that could be useful in the future.

Date: May 17th, 2019, and June 14th, 2019

Location: 1326 5th Avenue Seattle, WA 98101

Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm

Cost: $150

The seminar will be held in the Skinner building in the Central Business District; it’s in the same building as the 5th Avenue theater. When you arrive, Victoria will be there to open the door and grant access to the elevator. It would be best if attendees arrived 5-10 minutes early to allow enough time to ensure everyone is present before we begin.
