Sarah Shultz, PhD
Department Chair and Professor - on leave of absence AY23
Building/Room: Casey 540-01A
Dr Sarah Shultz is passionate about understanding orthopaedic complications that can prevent clinical populations from being physically active. Her primary focus has been on exploring new ways to get obese children exercising, but she has also worked to improve physical activity in women, and those with osteoarthritis. When she is not researching this topic area, Dr Shultz works to promote community engagement with biomechanics and other exercise science topics. She has been heavily involved in National Biomechanics Day, a single day event that celebrates the coolness of biomechanics with secondary school students.
