Dr. Tom Taylor received his PhD from the University of Minnesota where he focused his dissertation research on 20th-century Germany. Fall 2017 will mark his 30th year at Seattle University. He has offered a wide range of courses on modern European, world history, and methodology and historiography. Currently he is writing for Routledge Press, Modern Travel in World History that should be finished by the end of the year and come out next year. Dr. Taylor also teaches courses in International Studies, Honors. He recently taught for Semester at Sea and explored ten countries across Asia and Africa. He has two children, Jack 20, and Alina 17. He still plays noonball a couple of days/week; stop by and join him for a game.
