Departmental Administrative Assistants are coordinating the moves for each department affected, and are responsible for completing the IT Device Location worksheets and key requests.
For those faculty housed in Xavier 160, Lisa Ferrin will be coordinating those moves.
We will update this information as we receive it.
Lisa has a supply of boxes and labels in her office (Casey 101A), please contact her if you need these supplies.
These carts are available.
All boxes must be labeled, with Name, Department and new location (building/room).
If not labeled properly, they will not be moved (per Facilities).
It is also a good idea for each faculty and staff member to keep an inventory of items packed in these boxes. Each computer component (monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive) should be labeled individually with owner’s name and new location.
The moving Company will not move personal items or plants.
Faculty/Staff is encouraged to bring these items home and back to the new location once moved in.
If they do box them, there is no recourse to the faculty/staff if lost or broken.
Moving computers/phones – this is done on the IT Device Location worksheet and should be submitted to them one month prior to the move. Will need the locations and jack ID’s for both the old and new locations.
Facilities will move computers, but IT will have to hook them up. There is also the complication of any computer refreshes. To minimize confusion in the midst of the move, any refreshes will be completed once the computers are moved to the new office.
Keys for your old office should be turned into your departmental Administrative Assistant (those in XAVR 160 can turn their key into Lisa Ferrin, Casey 101A), who will also order keys for your new location. Administrative Assistants should record all keys received, as well as new orders, in the key exchange worksheet in OneDrive. Contact Lisa Ferrin for the link.
Your departmental Administrative Assistant should complete a Facilities Request form with desired scope, schedule and budget number. Budget for these types of requests must be approved by the College Budget Manager, Sally Hogan.
Bruce Decker will update faculty and staff directory listings on the website, based upon the information provided by Lisa Ferrin.
Your website content manager is responsible for updating office locations on any other pages where it is listed.
