Joshua Wilson (aka Joshua Marie Wilkinson) is the author or editor of thirteen books, the most recent of which is Meadow Slasher (Black Ocean 2017). With Solan Jensen he directed a film about the band Califone, and with his partner Lisa Wells he runs a multimedia journal called The Volta and Letter Machine Editions, a small press that publishes Fred Moten, Alice Notley, and many others. Josh has taught for nearly twenty years at Loyola University Chicago, Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, Columbia College Chicago, University of Denver, Hugo House in Seattle, and University of Arizona, where he received the College of Humanities Distinguished Teaching Award. He holds degrees in Secondary Education (BA), Creative Writing (MFA), Film Studies (MA), and English (PhD). He teaches courses in creative writing, literature, and film.
