Haily was born and raised in Lake Tapps, Washington. In 2014 she completed her BA in Criminal Justice at the University of Washington (Tacoma) and in 2016 she graduated from Seattle University with her MACJ. She is currently working on her PhD in Law at the University of Washington School of Law. After graduating from Seattle University, Haily worked for the Federal Public Defender – Capital Habeas Unit in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked with Death Row inmates who had exhausted their state direct appeals and were attempting to bring forth Constitutional challenges for convictions and sentences. After moving back to Washington from Arizona, Haily began working as a Probation Officer for Pierce County District Court Probation before ultimately deciding to go back to school to obtain her PhD. Haily also works as Adjunct Faculty for Bellevue College teaching courses in their Criminal Justice Department.
