Dr. Elaine Gunnison will be presenting her newest publication, Women, Crime, and Justice: Balancing the Scales on Thursday, December 1st. This is a brown bag event highlight the text's comprehensive analysis of the role of women in the criminal justice system and providing important insight to their position as offenders, victims, and practitioners. Topics include:

  • global perspectives on female offending and victimization,
  • exploring issues professional women face in the criminal justice workplace, such as police culture, judicial decision-making, correctional facilities, and more.
