Global Education

Global Education

The world awaits

How will you engage?

Each year, more than 500 students study abroad in 45 countries while earning credit toward their degrees. Our goal is that every Arts & Science student has some opportunity to interact with a global experience, either domestically or abroad.

The Education Abroad Office serves as a central resource to students considering study abroad and faculty who are planning education abroad programs.

Arts & Sciences Study Abroad Programs

Looking to go abroad for a short period, as part of a SU class? Many Arts & Sciences faculty lead programs each year. Learn more at the Education Abroad Office.

In the Community

In addition to the global education that is woven throughout the Arts & Sciences curriculum, there are numerous opportunities to engage in experiential learning by connecting classroom concepts to service in the community and throughout the world. Direct experience is part of educating students to be a global citizen - one of SU’s defining characteristics.
