Ethnic Issues in Literature, Film, and History

As the world  struggles with immigration, globalization, and the new nationalism, we find ourselves in the middle of ethnic conflicts in all parts of the world.  Join us as we read, watch, and discuss ideas and stories by four Arts and Sciences professors in Film Studies, Literature, and History.

All sessions take place on Wednesday evenings from 6 - 8:00 p.m. on these dates:
April 12 and 26, May 10 and 24

COST:  $100 for the four sessions

Registration Information: Alumni Seminars are open to Seattle university alums and other college graduates in the Seattle area who seek a lively learning experience, stimulating discussion, and the companionship of other active minds.

The cost of the four-session seminar, which includes all material, parking, and refreshment, is $100.  Participants may sign up by email here. Please be sure to include your mailing address, phone number, and whether or not you will require on-campus parking.

The Alumni Seminars Series take place each quarter and are open to Seattle University alumni and other college graduates in the Seattle area who seek a high-quality learning experience, stimulating discussions of life’s deeper questions, and the companionship of other active minds.

The Alumni Seminars are organized by the College of Arts and Sciences of Seattle University under the guidance of Professor David Leigh, S.J.
