I earned a Master’s degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to working in the College of Arts and Sciences at SU, I served as an Educational Planner at Edmonds Community College and as the Leadership Development Fellow in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. I also have experience working as a study abroad advisor and as a bank teller.
In my role as Academic Advisor, I enjoy engaging in conversation with students around ways to deepen the SU experience. I am active in campus committee work which aims to enrich and enhance the quality of academic advising at SU. My husband, Matt, and I have a fun-loving toddler, Brandon, who entertains us with silliness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running my dog, spending quiet time reading, and enjoying all that the Seattle area has to offer.

As a graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences at Seattle University,
majoring in East Asian History, I am excited to be back on campus in a role
where I can support students on their own journey. I have held a variety of

I am an academic advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences, and enjoy working with students to plan educational goals as well as connecting students with campus resources. Some of my hobbies include driving to new places, drinking endless cups of coffee, snow skiing, and reading a new book.

This year I am an academic
advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am greatly looking forward to
helping students successfully plan their academic endeavors but also get to
know them and have conversations around making the most of their experience at
Seattle U. I am a second year graduate student here in the Student Development
Administration Program. I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA and received my
Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington so I’m a Pacific Northwest
girl. Outside of work and school, some of the things I love to do are play
tennis, go shopping, and finding yummy happy hour places!
