Social Work alumnus Jessica Boling, class of 2007, received a Fulbright scholarship to conduct research in Cameroon. Boling worked as an NGO Consultancy Intern at Association des Frères et Sœurs unis pour L'Espoir et la Solidarité in Cameroon in 2011. For her Fulbright, she will return to Cameroon to examine the effectiveness of international aid to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).
After graduating from Seattle University, Boling received her M.S.W. from Boston College with a specialization in Macro Global Practice. While in Boston, she served as a Health Program Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Policy Analysis Intern at Massachusetts Alliance for Teen Pregnancy. She is currently the executive director of Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link in South Korea. The nonprofit provides services to adoptees returning to Korea.
The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 33 undergraduate and 7 advanced degrees.
