  • Brother Elder to Speak on Community Murals as Public Art

    Brother Mark Elder, C.M., professor of painting at DePaul University,will speak onCommunity Murals as Urban Public Arton April 5 at6 p.m. in Wyckoff auditorium. Bro. Elder, colorfully known as "Buffalo Bro" on the urban prairies of Chicago, will discuss his specialization as a muralist as well as his team approach to producing publically placed art with social-political, community, and religious themes. This event is free and open to the public.

    Brother Elder’s presentation is sponsored by the Department of Fine Arts, which offers degrees in visual art, digital art and design, art history, music, theatre, and photography as well as an MFA in Arts Leadership.
