  • Paul Publishes in Journal of Virtual Worlds Research

    December 3, 2010

Communication  Professor Christopher A. Paul  published “Process, Paratexts, and Texts: Rhetorical Analysis and Virtual Worlds” in the November issue of the Journal of Virtual Worlds Research.  His research addressed how rhetorical analysis can be applied to the study of virtual worlds. Patch 3.3.0 of World of Warcraft is used as a case study to demonstrate how to engage in rhetorical criticism of virtual worlds and how the various texts are presented in practice.

In 2008, Paul joined the faculty in the Communication Department  in the College of Arts and Sciences , which offers specializations in digital communication, digital production, journalism, strategic communications, international/intercultural communication, and media studies.
