  • Conference Focused on Work of A&S Professor

    Last week, a conference devoted to the work of Dan Dombrowski (Philosophy) was held in North Carolina. It was sponsored by HIARPT, the Highlands Institute for American Religious and Philosophical Thought. Approximately 50 people attended the conference. This organization is devoted to the University of Chicago's tradition of liberal theology. Conference participants included faculty from Boston University, Dartmouth, University of Chicago, etc., and included a past president of the American Academy of Religion. Two of Dombrowski’s books were highlighted in particular: Rawls and Religion: The Case for Political Liberalism and Divine Beauty: The Aesthetics of Charles Hartshorne.
