    Jeff Staley, adjunct professor of theology and religious studies, recently had his essay, “Resurrection Dysfunction, or One Hundred Years of Cinematic Attempts at Raising a Stiff (Jn 11:1-46),” published in Anatomies of the Fourth Gospel. He also presented a paper, “‘Come Over and Help Us’: A Postcolonial Reading of Biblical Imagery in the WHMS Oriental Home National Fundraising Tour, 1908-1909,” in the Asian and Asian-American Hermeneutics Group at the annual meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature. Also at this conference, held in Boston, Staley founded and co-chaired a planning session for a new three-year SBL Consultation titled “Bible and Film.”
