At the January Northwest University Invitational debate
tournament, the team of Robby Noble (left) and Ali Al-Sadi (right) took first
place by a vote of both the audience and the judging panel. Noble was the fifth
best speaker at the tournament. Noble is a senior majoring in political
science and economics.

The debate team will travel to four more tournaments this quarter
and host a tournament on campus March 2 - 3. Teams from California, Canada,
Montana, New York, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington will compete. All rounds are
open to the public.
