The fifth volume of the Seattle University Undergraduate Research Journal (SUURJ) will launch on May 26 at 6 p.m. Join the free virtual event here. The journal will be presented in association with the Seattle University Undergraduate Research Association (SUURA).
The journal includes impactful undergraduate research developed in a collaborative process centered on professional development and engagement in broader academic conversations. This year, even with the difficult conditions of COVID, SUURJ received a record breaking number of 60 submissions from a variety of Seattle U majors. After a rigorous review, and multi-phase editing process by student and faculty editors, the finished publication will incudes 11 essays from nine diverse majors, including the Core Curriculum.
Following the launch, Volume 5 will be available online.
In addition to introducing the published research, the launch event will offer guidelines on how to get involved as either an editor or contributor. For more information about SUURJ, contact Dr. Molly Clark Hillard via email or visit the SUURJ website.
