Seattle University Undergraduate Research Journal launches May 26

TImage of the cover of the journal with a photo of treeshe fifth volume of the Seattle University Undergraduate Research Journal (SUURJ) will launch on May 26 at 6 p.m. Join the free virtual event here. The journal will be presented in association with the Seattle University Undergraduate Research Association (SUURA).

The journal includes impactful undergraduate research developed in a collaborative process centered on professional development and engagement in broader academic conversations. This year, even with the difficult conditions of COVID, SUURJ received a record breaking number of 60 submissions from a variety of Seattle U majors. After a rigorous review, and multi-phase editing process by student and faculty editors, the finished publication will incudes 11 essays from nine diverse majors, including the Core Curriculum.

Following the launch, Volume 5 will be available online.
