Biography

In my role as Internship and Mentorship Coordinator I am working to expand opportunities for A&S students to engage in professional formation, the journey of deepening and broadening one’s professional identity. I work to cultivate college mentorship opportunities in the community, expand student professional work experience opportunities with employer partners, encourage students to seek internship and mentoring opportunities, partner with academic departments and programs to coordinate internship and mentoring opportunities, support faculty internship coordinators, and develop internship and mentorship best practices.

I have a Master’s degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to my current role, I held the positions of Senior Academic Advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences at SU, Educational Planner at Edmonds Community College, Leadership Development Fellow in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, and I also have experience working as a study abroad advisor and as a bank teller. In my free time, I enjoy time with my family, running my dog, spending quiet time reading, and enjoying all that the Seattle area has to offer. I work part-time and you will find me on campus Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
