Thomas W Taylor CV

Dr. Tom Taylor received his PhD from the University of Minnesota where he focused his dissertation research on 20th-century Germany. Fall 2017 will mark his 30th year at Seattle University.  He has offered a wide range of courses on modern European, world history, and methodology and historiography. Currently he is completing a comprehensive world history text for Pearson Publishing that uses travel narratives to explore the significant events that have shaped the human story. Dr. Taylor also teaches courses in International Studies, Honors.  He recently taught for Semester at Sea and explored ten countries across Asia and Africa.  He has two children, Jack 20, and Alina 17. He still plays noonball a couple of days/week; stop by and join him for a game.
