Biography

Jessica Knapp is a health-focused writer, communication consultant, and digital marketing expert who specializes in building and maintaining relationships that drive business objectives. She has worked as an editor and writer for some of the leading advertising firms in Seattle. Jessica holds a PhD in communication from the University of Texas at Austin and uses her knowledge of communication theory to craft empathetic communication strategy. Currently, she is an External Communications Consultant at Kaiser Permanente.

In addition to her day job, Jessica enjoys helping academics take their first steps into industry work. She is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and has, without a doubt, objectively, the best dog in the world, a border terrier named Penny.
