Are you a recent graduate and lost in the throes of job hunting? Confused by networking? Not sure how to transition your unpaid internship into a full-time paid position?
This one day workshop will give you the tools you need, along with the opportunity to connect with other Seattle University alumni and work on your professional networking skills. This course is specifically designed for new graduates from class years 2010 to 2015 who are searching for their fit in a new career. Conducted by Elizabeth Atcheson, founder and principal of Blue Bridge Career Coaching.
“It transformed my ideas about career development and landing a job. Before this workshop, I had all the wrong ideas about job-hunting. I spend my first year out of college doing odd jobs and unpaid internships while I crafted beautiful cover letters and resumes that never got me into the interview pool. Now I know I must be more active by going to events, volunteering, conducting informational interviews, and building a network. Now I know that it's not about my resume, but it's about my relationships.”
Four consecutive Wednesday evenings:Wednesday, October 7 - October 28, 2015 6:30 -8:30 PMSeattle University Boeing Room, LeMieux Library, Room 122
Looking for a job, a career change or re-start? This workshop will give you the tools you need, along with the opportunity to connect with other Seattle University alumni and work on your professional networking skills.
“Elizabeth's classes helped me identify the direction I want to go with regard to my career. I don't think I would have identified this without attending this workshop."
