Your Alumni Office

Letter from Your Alumni Board President

  • Dear fellow alumni,

ChrisCanlas5It is with great joy and privilege that I welcome you to the website for the Seattle University Alumni Board of Governors (ABoG). All 69,000 SU alumni are lifetime members of SU’s community. As ABoG president, I encourage you to be an active and engaged member of this community.

Representing all schools and colleges of the university, ABoG members are chosen for their proven leadership skills, passion for Seattle University and its future, and interest in working hard to serve the university. The Alumni Board sponsors numerous events each year designed to promote alumni interaction, networking, professional growth, and success of our students. Through our committees, our board is engaged in developing services and programs for alumni, promoting annual giving, creating opportunities for career development, engaging faculty, staff, and students in the alumni community, encouraging the admission of the best students and more.

I believe Seattle University alumni are well-positioned to strongly influence the university's future. SU alumni span the globe, and we want to keep you involved with the university wherever you may roam. I hope you will take full advantage of the great cultural, academic and athletic programs and events that the Alumni Association sponsors and organizes. Our programs provide a great opportunity to connect with fellow alums, share our common past and maintain a connection to the university.

The Alumni Board welcomes your involvement and participation. If you have any comments, suggestions, or questions about the Alumni Association or about opportunities for future participation, please contact Lesley Carlsen, Alumni Relations Board Liaison.
