    With a Jesuit Pope who is making waves, more people than ever are asking what the "Jesuit" or "Ignatian" approach to leadership is.

    Join Seattle University’s Alumni Relations and Magis' Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA) Alumni Leadership program for an exciting evening of networking and meaningful conversation around authentic leadership and what it means to ground one’s leadership in the values of a Jesuit education. 

     A diverse alumni panel from a variety of professional fields will join Seattle University President Fr. Stephen Sundborg, SJ to share insights out of their lived experience of leadership, and an opportunity for structured networking will follow.

    The current line-up for the Ignatian panel includes:

    Fr. Stephen Sundborg, SJ- Seattle University President
    Since becoming president, Father Sundborg's key objectives have been to encourage student-centered education, enhance academic excellence, and develop resources to support a growing student population. During his tenure, Seattle University has built a new law school, a student center, and student residences. Father Sundborg is strongly committed to promoting social justice, a core value of the Jesuit Catholic education.

    Sheely Mauck - Alumni Board of Governors
    Sheely Mauck is co-owner of Elite Services & Support, which provides IT consulting services and helps nonprofits with the technology side of fundraising events. In addition to Elite, Sheely has helped develop Telefini Premier Communications, a startup company that provides professional telephone systems for small businesses and nonprofits. She also serves as a coach, trainer, and external assessment coordinator through School’s Out Washington for the purposes of improving program quality in youth development organizations.  She completed her B.A. in psychology at Pacific Lutheran University and came to Seattle University as a graduate student where she completed her Master of Public Administration in 2009.
    Rob Nielsen - Seattle U Alumnus
    Rob Nielsen recently co-authored the Routledge published business textbook,Leading with Humility. His research on the topic of humility and leadership has also been presented at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists and published in the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. His work has been referenced in over two dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and textbooks, combined. Rob is also a vice president in the Seattle office of JLL, where he works with organizations to help them find office space.

    Katy Greve - Alumni Board of Governors
    Katy is the Director of Strategy Management for Premera Blue Cross. As the nation faces a crisis of health and healthcare costs, she works with Premera to drive, respond, and promote positive change in our healthcare systems. Katy holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Washington and an Executive MBA from Seattle University. Since becoming involved at Seattle University, Katy has been a mentor for the Albers School of Business and Economics and served on the Alumni Board of Governors.  

    Jolynn Suko - Alumna of the Magis CLA program
    Jolynn Suko works as the Administrative Director of the Neuroscience Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center.  Throughout her career at Virginia Mason, she has held numerous leadership roles in quality, compliance, finance and operational improvement.  She was a member of the inaugural cohort of Contemplative Leaders in Action and is a former Jesuit Volunteer (’97-98, Omaha, NE).  She holds a BA in Biology from Whitman College and a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan.  She currently serves on the CLA advisory board.  In her spare time she enjoys time with her family.
