Mentoring Objectives & Scope
Career planning, strategic thinking, idea and opportunity generation, career/job scenario planning, action planning, resume writing and review, sounding board and advisor. conversation is free to go where they need to go. I prefer to set up a cohort system with the group of mentors so that everyone is learning from other's experiences as well as their own.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
My office, or a convenient location to Kirkland. For meetings in Seattle, I will coordinate to meet at coffee shops around client locations in town.
I put my skin in the game to help, and expect the same in return. I prefer motivated students who respect the mentoring service that Albers provides and are willing to commit to their own development.
