Advising, Registration and Orientation

Attend an Advising & Registration Session

New transfer students sign up for an Advising and Registration Session in the Canvas Course. At these sessions Transfer Academic Advisors assist new transfer students with choosing and registering for their first quarter classes. Once students have submitted the Course Preferences Form via the Canvas Course, a Transfer Academic Advisor will save seats in courses indicated by the answers provided. Then students meet one-on-one with an advisor to review those courses during a Transfer Advising Session. In addition, during that session students will be introduced to academic advising services.

For questions regarding the Canvas course, please contact advisingservices@seattleu.edu. You may also contact your college's advising center with additional questions:

Attend Orientation

All new transfer students are required to attend an orientation. Please use the Canvas Course to register. Students will register for classes and learn important university knowledge and resources.

If possible, it is recommended that new students submit final transcripts to the Admissions Office prior to orientation.

For questions about orientation, please contact the Orientation Programs at orientation@seattleu.edu or (206) 296-2525.
