Welcome to the start of the Virtual Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage!

Before we start, we want to make sure everyone is set up with the online platform to collect our distance traveled.

You'll have to set up an account, add the unique join code, join the Redhawk community, create/join a team, and finally if you have a smart phone or fitness device to connect it. See below the padlet to see instructions on how to set up.

If you would like to join a team, we recommend 4-8 people. Use the Padlet below to coordinate teams, team names and assign a captain! Captains will create the teams and give team members the team password!

Virtual Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Set Up Instructions

For Smartphone app: Smartphone app: The Conqueror App

Create an Account:

Download from the App Store or Google Play Search The Conqueror Challenges

Open the App and tap the "Register" button

Input your details

Click "Submit"

Join the Challenge: Official Instruction

Choose "Join a Conqueror Challenge"

Enter your Join Code, from your welcome email

Select the challenge "Camino de Santiago"

Select the time frame. The EAO Team is aiming for 7 weeks, you can select up to a full year!

Join the Redhawk Community:

Click on the “3 bars” icon the lower right, then select “communities”

Select Join community, under it is a search box.

Type in #Redhawks, select #Redhawks

Enter the join code: redhawks

Click the black button that says join community

Now you want to make sure that you can view the community on the map

Select the “home” icon, second from the bottom right, select the Camino challenge

Select the “rocket” icon the to top right corner of the map, then select the last icon, the “gear” icon

You’ll see “Active Participants”, that’s a scroll feature, scroll down to #Redhawks and Save & close.

Now your map will now where the rest of Redhawks are.

Create/Join a Team:

Select the "home" icon, second from the right, select the Camino challenge

Select the "rocket" icon in the top right corner of the map, then select the "gear" icon.

Expand the "Teams" tab,

Captains will select "Create a Team", add a team name and create the team. There will be a team code that can be sent to the team members

Team members will select "Join Existing Team" and enter the team code

Connect your Fitness Device:

Click on the "3 BARS" icon in the lower right corner, then select the "Connections" option.

You can connect to Garmin, Strava, Fitbit, UnderArmour Connected Fitness, RunKeeper, Apple Health, or Google Fit.

Create an Account Official Instruction (with images)

To create a new account, please click the "Sign-in" button at the top right:

After clicking the "Sign-in" button, you will get this screen please click the "Sign-up" button at the bottom right to create a new account

You'll have to fill out the registration form using an e-mail address and password of your preference, after filling the form please press the "Sign-up" button to complete the registration

After following these steps you should receive a welcoming e-mail on your inbox indicating that you're now part of My Virtual Mission!

Join the Challenge: Check your welcome email for your unique Join Code

Login to the My Virtual Mission account that you just set up

On the top right, click "Start a Mission"

Select "Enter Join Code" and enter your unique code from your email

Select the Challenge for "Camino de Santiago"

Select the time frame. The EAO Team is aiming for 7 weeks, you can select up to a full year!

Join the Redhawk Community:

This will show all the other Redhawks that are participating in the virtual pilgrimage together. Distances are not combined.

Click on the "My Account" Tab on the top right

Select "The Conqueror", then select the Camino de Santiago Challenge under "My Challenges" section

On the right side, under Communities, select "#RedhawksAbroad" and enter password redhawks, click Join

Click "View Mission page" on the left and select the Leadership tab on the left. There you will see your progress as well as other Redhawks

Create/Join a Team:

480 miles is quite a long way, going as a team will make the journey more fun (and easier)! In a team, you will combine your total distances traveled!

Click on the "My Account" Tab on the top right

Select "The Conqueror", then select the Camino de Santiago Challenge under "My Challenges" section

On the right side, under Team

Captains will select "Create a Team", add a team name and create the team. There will be a team code that can be sent to the team members

Team members will select "Join Existing Team" and enter the team code

Connect your Fitness Device:

If you don't have a fitness device, you can always just manually input your distance traveled.

Click on the "My Account" Tab on the top right

Select "My Connections"
