    Sorrento Hotel 

    Sorrento Hotel, located at 900 Madison in the First Hill neighborhood, is a short distance to campus by bus or on foot.  This historic hotel is Seattle's first and longest-operating boutique hotel. The Sorrento has partnered with SU to provide discounted rates to all Seattle University guests in 2013. There is no deadline to receive the discounted rate, but room availability is limited. Reserve early to guarantee the discounted rate.     Silver Cloud Hotel at Lake Union, located at 1150 Fairview Avenue North and convenient to public transportation to campus, is offering discounted group rates.

    Air Travel 

    Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is located 15 miles south of Seattle. The following are transportation options from Sea-Tac Airport to Seattle:

    Public Transportation

    As part of SU's ongoing mission ongoing mission to be an environmentally conscious campus, students, faculty, staff, and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of Seattle's excellent public transportation system.  Metro Transit Routes 2, 3, 4, 9, 12, 43, 49, & 60 serve Seattle University. Use Metro’s trip planner to plot a route to or from Sea-Tac Airport, downtown Seattle, your hotel, Seattle University, or another Seattle location.

    Taxis 

    Driving

    Interstate 5 is the main route to Seattle from the North and South. I-90 and State Route 520 are the main routes from the East. Seattle University is located at 901 12th Avenue. Find driving directions here.

  • Venue

    Seattle University is located in the First Hill neighborhood in Seattle, near to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The campus is conveniently located only seven city blocks east of Interstate 5, via the James Street exit. Click here for a regional map for a general idea of our location.

    WRRCEA will be held in Campion Residence Hall. Campion Hall is located between East Jefferson Street and East James Street on the south side of campus. The main entrance is on the north side of Campion Hall. Click here for a campus map. A printable map is available under the menu on the right.

    Parking at Seattle University

    Parking at Seattle University is regulated at all times and availability is limited during business hours from Monday through Friday during the academic year. However, visitor’s permits can be purchased at the yellow pay boxes centrally located in the 12th Avenue and E. Marion Street Parking Lot (also called the "Pigott Parking Lot") or on the ground floor of the Murphy Parking Garage. Murphy Parking Garage is near Campion Hall, where WRRCEA will be held.

    The pay boxes accept cash, Visa, and MasterCard. Visitor parking fees start at the following rates:

    • 0-2 hours: $8.00
    • 2-4 hours: $12.00
    • 4-6 hours: $14.00
    • 6-24 hours. $18.00

    Food Service 

    Registration fees for WRRCEA include afternoon snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday, and breakfast on Saturday. Other meals and snacks are not included.

    There are many restaurants near campus (Word). There are also several restaurants and coffee bars on campus, catered by Bon Appetit, a premier on-site restaurant company.
