Tiffany Anderson

Background As an undergraduate at Seattle University, I spent three years as a writing consultant helping students craft solid papers. My experiences with consulting motivated me to pursue teaching after graduation. I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for two years in a public high school in Federal Way, WA, where I taught study skills to potential first-generation college students, ran a children’s program at a Latino night school, and tutored students in a variety of subjects. I was inspired by the Latino community in Federal Way to travel to South America to learn Spanish. I spent a year in Chile teaching English in a public all-girls high school and then returned to Seattle to study public administration at the University of Washington’s Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs.
I am a Seattle fanatic whose sense of home is enriched by the vibrant experiences of travel. I enjoy helping students navigate the writing process, articulate their ideas, and become stronger writers.
