Hello! I’m Jim, and this is my third year of tutoring at the Writing Center.
It would seem that writing doesn’t apply to graphic design--my major; however, I believe that it does. Good writing, like good design, effectively communicates an idea. I enjoy tutoring at the Writing Center because I can help others effectively communicate their ideas through their writing.
When not at the Writing Center or in class, I like to draw, run, and watch my favorite TV shows. I also spend a great deal of time idealizing other people and their hobbies. (It’s practically a hobby in itself!) For example, I currently idealize those people whom I see walking on slack lines in the park. I feel as though I’d be so peaceful, carefree, and balanced if I were one of them...
