Riding a three-game winning streak, the Seattle University women’s basketball team continues its homestand against West Coast Conference foes this week. Tonight, Dec. 13, the Redhawks welcome Santa Clara to the Connolly Center North Court for a 7 p.m. tipoff. Santa Clara comes into tonight’s game with a 6-3 record, but Seattle U hopes to use its home-court advantage for another victory.
Later this week, Seattle U faces Saint Mary’s at the Connolly Center Saturday, Dec. 17, beginning at 4 p.m. The Gaels also boast a winning record so far in the 2011-12 season at 6-4, so this will be another test for the Redhawks.
Admission to all Seattle U home women’s basketball games is free for SU faculty and staff, so swing by the Connolly Center and cheer on the team this week!
Although the Seattle U men’s basketball team is hitting the road, fans here in Seattle still have a chance to gather together and root on the Redhawks. The place to go is Post Restaurant and Lounge, located at 1914 Post Alley near Pike Place Market.
The first watch party is Wednesday, Dec. 14, when Seattle U faces Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark. The festivities begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday when the Redhawks take on the Red Wolves. Saturday, Dec. 17, Seattle U takes on Utah State in Logan, Utah, beginning at 6 p.m.
