What happens if my permit is lost/stolen?
Anyone may ask for a 15 minute permit from the booth. Come to our office, USVC 102, to report your lost or stolen permit. If applicable, bring in the police report. Back to top
What if I want to use a different car than I have registered?
If you are using a different car than the one registered and this is a temporary situation, you can email us at seattleu.service@thepermitstore.com. Please be sure to include you parking permit number, name, and Seattle University ID#. Back to top
What if my permit was displayed in a different place?
Proper display of your parking permit is important. Your parking permit is not valid unless it is displayed in the lower left corner of the windshield. If you received a ticket because of improper display, the ticket will not be waived. Back to top
When should I receive my permit in the mail?
When you order your parking permit online you will receive a temporary permit that is valid for 10 days. You should receive your permanent parking permit in the mail within 3-5 business days. Back to top

Who is eligible to purchase a carpool permit and how do I apply for one?
A carpool must consist of two or more people who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in classes or be a full time employee
- Arrive to campus together in a carpool registered vehicle
- Live more than one mile away from campus and within a logical commute path of each other (carpool should not pass by campus to pick up members)
- No member of the carpool team can have an outstanding campus parking violation
- No member of the carpool team must be currently registered for an ORCA transit pass

Can I order my permit online and pick it up in the office?
No, you can’t. iParq mails permits directly so they are not available for pick up in the offices; however, if there is a reason you cannot receive your permit in the mail, please email us at seattleu.service@thepermitstore.com before you place an online order. Other options will be available on a case by case basis. Remember, if it is just that you need the permit next day, you can print a temporary permit that can be used immediately. Back to top
I only want to park on campus for a couple of days a week, where do I get a permit?
Intermittent parking permits, One day, Two day, and Three day, are only available for purchase from our office during standard office hours. Back to top
I already have an ORCA transit pass can I purchase a parking permit?
If you already have an ORCA transit pass you are not eligible to purchase a parking permit. Please contact our office if you want to switch from a transit pass to a parking permit. Back to top

I received a citation! How to I pay/appeal it?
You can pay and appeal citations online at The Permit Store. You will be asked to provide your License Plate and citation number during this process. Back to top
I will be hosting a guest on campus. How do I arrange for them to park?

I just need to drop something off. Do I need to purchase a parking pass?
If you just need to drop something off, or quickly visit the bookstore, please inform the booth attendant that you need a 15 minute parking pass and they will write you one. Back to top
Can I park in the red signed areas?
No visitors can park in the red signed areas. Even if they are late for an appointment, meeting, ect. they cannot park there. The booth cannot write a pass for someone to park in those spots. Back to top
