A - Permit for Faculty

This permit is for Faculty members who are commuting to school during the day. Parking is valid in the 11th and E. Cherry Garage (underneath the Archbishop Murphy Apartments), Broadway Garage, 14th and E. Jefferson (next to the Connolly Center), and the 12th and E. Marion Parking Lot AFTER 3PM and all day on the weekends.

D- Permit for Staff

This permit is for Staff members who are commuting to school during the day. Parking is valid in the 11th and E. Cherry Garage (underneath the Archbishop Murphy Apartments), Broadway Garage, 14th and E. Jefferson (next to the Connolly Center), and the 12th and E. Marion Parking Lot AFTER 3PM and all day on the weekends.

LA - Permit for Carpool

This permit is for two or more Seattle University Community members commuting together during the day who share their destination as Seattle University. To be recognized as a carpool and receive the privileges that are associated with the carpool program, the members MUST arrive on campus together inside one vehicle. Permit is valid during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to midnight.

Carpools will receive one permit to be shared between the Carpool Team along with SOV allotment cards for all register drivers. When carpooling the sticker permit must be displayed on the vehicle that you are arriving in. If you are driving by yourself, the SOV allotment card is all that you will need.

If any carpool member needs to leave during the day without their carpool members, intends on returning to Seattle University that same day, plus wishes to still be recognized as a valid carpool, they may obtain a carpool re-entry pass to be presented to the Booth Attendant at their parking location. A re-entry pass can be obtained from the Information Booth at their parking location or from the Public Safety office.

For the times that carpool members are unable to drive together Seattle University offers a courtesy, Single Occupancy Vehicle Passes or SOV Passes to all drivers in the carpool that have registered their vehicle with the Public Safety Office. SOV Passes issued to Carpool drivers are a courtesy and Public Safety reserves the right to suspend the use of these passes at any time. SOV Passes are issued with an allotment of blank dates that are to be used during the time the permit is valid.

These dates represent the total amount of visits to Seattle University's Campus a carpool member can make alone (approximately one day per week during the semester/quarter). When arriving to campus alone each blank date will be replaced with the date of your arrival. The current date MUST be written in INK and verified by a Booth Attendant. The absence of a Booth Attendant does not relieve the driver of their responsibility to have a valid pass displayed.

Although Seattle University does not have an internal Ridematch System, we encourage carpooling. Therefore, we utilize King County's Rideshare program. This will allow Seattle University community members that are interested in carpooling to find carpool partners. Click on the link above for to find out more information.

A/D- One Day Intermittent Pass

Pass is valid for one specific day per week.

This permit is for perons who are commuting to school during the day. Parking is valid in the 11th and E. Cherry Garage (underneath the Archbishop Murphy Apartments), Broadway Garage, 14th and E. Jefferson (next to the Connolly Center), and the 12th and E. Marion Parking Lot AFTER 3PM ONLY on weekends.

A/D-Two Day Intermittent Pass

Pass is valid for two specific days per week.

This permit is for perons who are commuting to school during the day. Parking is valid in the 11th and E. Cherry Garage (underneath the Archbishop Murphy Apartments), Broadway Garage, 14th and E. Jefferson (next to the Connolly Center), and the 12th and E. Marion Parking Lot AFTER 3PM ONLY on weekends.

A/D- Three Day Intermittent Pass

Pass is valid for three specific days per week.

This permit is for persons who are commuting to school during the day. Parking is valid in the 11th and E. Cherry Garage (underneath the Archbishop Murphy Apartments), Broadway Garage, 14th and E. Jefferson (next to the Connolly Center), and the 12th and E. Marion Parking Lot AFTER 3PM ONLY on weekdays.
