Last Spring, Seattle University
broke ground on the new Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons.
Shortly after the ground breaking ceremony, the construction fences went
up. While we’ve been able to hear the
sounds of progress, the construction fences surrounding the site conceal the visual
evidence of the progress that is being made.
To help keep the community updated on this
exciting project, OIT has partnered with Facilities Services to deploy an
online web camera. This web camera is located on the roof of the Bannan
Engineering Building and provides a real-time visual status of the project. A
special thank you goes out to electricians Jay Heitman and Byron Lynch in Facilities Services for their assistance
with setting up the web camera.
To view video updates of what is occurring
behind the construction fences, visit http://www.seattleu.edu/library/camera.aspx and follow the progress of the Lemieux
Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons construction. The construction is
scheduled to continue until September 2010.
