In September 2009, OIT helped to welcome both new and existing students back to campus!  Upon arrival, students found support desks in the Xavier, Bellermaine and Campion residence halls, staffed to help students access the campus network securely.  OIT helped students clean their laptops and personal computers of viruses and spyware, assisted in installing campus security software and also helped get Xbox360s and Wii’s operational!  Other services included helping smart phones access campus email and several hundred network cables were also made available to the students.  Campus Card personnel participated in summer orientations and “carding” events to ensure meal plans, building access and washing machines can be used!

OIT provided Angel training programs for new faculty as well as assisting returning faculty in enhancing their use of the learning management system.
