Sierra Club's Cool Schools ranked us 35 out of 118 schools in 2011.

Seattle U was 1 of 2 schools, out of 118 total, scoring 9 out of 10 points for sustainable food practices in Sierra Club’s annual ranking of the U.S.’s greenest colleges

Newsweek’s Daily Beast placed SU in their Top 20 Colleges with the Best Food for the price, availability and variety of our food; percent of food budget spent on local and organic food, and number of restaurants per capita in the surrounding area.

The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges gave Seattle U 94 out of 99 points for our sustainability-related programs in 2011 and 2010.  SU ranks highest of all 28 Jesuit universities nationwide and independent colleges in Washington state.
