  • Silverlight - Clear Silverlight Cache in Windows 7

     

    Objective:

    Clear your Silverlight Cache in Windows 7.

    1. Open the Silverlight program.
    2. Under the  Application Storage tab , delete the cached website for Colleague ( https://oitswscol-ui2.seattleu.edu/ ).

    Detail: Step by step:

    Most commonly, this guide will be used following major updates to Datatel Colleague. Clearing the Silverlight cache will delete old versions of the webpage from your local computer. If you are using this guide after a major update to Datatel Colleague, you will also want to clear your internet browser history and developer caches. For instructions, see links under Related Articles below.

    Step 1:  Open the Start Menu and type in " Silverlight" .

    Step 2:  Click on the Silverlight  program in the Start Menu.

    Step 3:  Click on the Application Storage  tab.

    Step 4:  Click once on the cached website for Colleague (https://oitswscol-ui2.seattleu.edu/ ) and click Delete .

    Step 5:  When asked "Delete application storage for Web site?" click Yes .

    Step 6: Click OK to close the Silverlight window
