Anthony Rock graduated from Tumwater High School in Tumwater, Washington. He was a four year member of the Tumwater High School baseball team, serving as captain his senior year, as well as a member of his high school tennis team and basketball beam, where he was named Most Inspirational Player. Anthony was a member of the Tumwater Debate Team and Future Business Leaders of America. As a leader for Voices of Youth, he organized focus groups, presented at town hall meetings, and developed action plans to improve the health practices and support structures for youth in Thurston County. He is a National Merit Scholar Commended Student and member of the National Honor Society.
Anthony is a fourth year student at Seattle University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in both Mathematics and Entrepreneurship. During his sophomore year, he studied abroad in China with The Beijing Center for Chinese Studies—one of the most formative and enriching experiences during his time in college. He has also served as an assistant coach of a local Little League baseball team. His favorite characteristic of Seattle University is the location. Being so centrally located in Seattle allows student to really pursue their passions at many nearby locations and truly makes every individual’s college experience unique while still offering small class sizes.
