Participation is open to all Sullivan Leadership Award finalists.
Student Registration
Sullivan finalists will be welcomed and registered in the Casey atrium inside the main door of the Casey building, ground floor. Click here for a map of campus.
Parent Arrival
Up to two family members are invited to join their students in the Student Center Hearth at 5:15 PM for a reception followed by a dinner. You can also check out Things to Do in Our Neighborhood.
Dress
Suggested dress for Finalists' Day is "business casual."
The Speech
Finalists have been sent a copy of Plastic: A Toxic Love Story and a Speech Prompt. Finalists should prepare to present a five-minute speech, to answer questions about your presentation and the book, and to interview with a subgroup of selection committee members. You may have note cards in hand for your speech, but no other presentation media will be allowed. We encourage you to prepare for the interview as you would a job interview, by practicing spoken responses to questions about your interests and experiences.
