Service and Leadership

Sullivan Scholars appreciate the satisfaction and fulfillment that comes from helping others. They recognize that education is a privilege that brings with it responsibilities. Their Jesuit education will prepare them to earn a good living but will also require them to share their gifts and talents in the service of a better, more just world.

These are students who see themselves as invested in their communities. Sullivan Scholars are impetuous—they are eager to get out and enhance what they are learning by putting it into action and substantiating it with experience. Sullivan Leaders view service and leadership as going hand in hand. We seek students who will bring a range of leadership styles to their service commitments. Click on the links below for samples of how Seattle University students put our mission into action.
