Participation is open to all invited Sullivan Leadership Award finalists.
Sullivan finalists will be welcomed and registered in the Casey atrium inside the main door of the Casey building beginning at 11:45. Click here for a printable map of campus.
Up to two family members are invited to join their students in the Student Center Hearth at 5:00 PM for a reception followed by a dinner. During the afternoon when your student is participating in Finalists' Day activities, we encourage you to explore the many great restaurants, coffee shops and stores surrounding our campus. Use our handy Things to Do in Our Neighborhood to find your way.
Suggested dress for Finalist's Day is "smart casual."
Finalists have been sent a copy of Locked Down, Locked Out and a speech prompt. Finalists will present a five-minute speech on the speech prompt included with the book and will also interview with a subgroup of Sullivan Selection Committee members. Finalists should also be prepared to answer a few short questions about their speech after presenting. You may have note cards in hand for your speech, but no other presentation media will be allowed. We encourage you to prepare for the interview as you would a job interview by practicing spoken responses to questions about your interests and experiences.
Should coming to Seattle on the 26th prove to be a financial hardship, please contact the Admissions Office to request assistance with on-campus housing, transportation, and/or meals for Finalists before February 16th.
