Spring Fever

Spring Fever

It—warm weather, blue skies and sunshine—finally arrived… albeit a few months tardy. The rising temperatures lure people outdoors to soak up the rays and explore. At Seattle University, that means playing ball or Frisbee on the green or lounging on the lip of the chapel's reflecting pool or near the fountain.

Basketball Auction

Ready to Play

Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels celebrated Seattle University's upcoming move to Division I at an annual dinner and auction for the SU men's basketball program at The Triple Door in downtown Seattle. Mayor Nickels was among the more than 150 people at the May 10 event, which raised nearly $70,000 for men's basketball.

The event, May 3 at Campion Ballroom, is organized by one of the oldest and largest student clubs on campus and is a staple of spring at Seattle University. Attendees were treated to an authentic Hawaiian meal and dances from the island.
