The role of the Connections Leadership Program Peer Mentor is an important one in the success and development of students of color at Seattle University. Peer Mentors will have primary responsibility for implementing the Connections Leadership Program (CLP), a signature program for development of committed, connected leaders of color who possess an awareness of self, group, and community, and who are empowered to effect sustainable change.
Peer Mentors are involved in the important work of student of color retention. Serving as guides, advisors, and friends, they play a vital role in how students of color engage the campus community and establish avenues for academic success.
