Jennifer
Fyllingness
Jennifer is in her second year of the Ed.D.
program with an emphasis in Student Development Administration
and Higher Education. Originally from Oregon, she got her undergraduate
degree from Oregon State University and did her masters at George
Washington University in D.C.. Jennifer currently works for
the Entrepreneurship Center in the Albers School of Business
so she considers SU her second home right now. |

Meghan
Volk
Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Meghan moved
to Seattle to pursue a graduate degree in Student Development
Administration. Meghan is a Graduate Assistant in Student Activities
at SU, which she enjoys very much. Ultimately, she wants to
work at a community college because they closely align with
her values, open access to education. Meghan has appreciated
the opportunity to serve on the Graduate Student Council for
two years.

Woolett
Cortney is in her first year of the Masters
in Student Development Administration program. She grew up in
“The Apple Capital of the World,” Wenatchee, WA and received
her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University.
When she’s not studying, she's either running, volunteering,
or going to concerts. |

Wortmann
April is a School Couseling graduate student
with hopes of becoming a high school guidance counselor. She
is a Graduate Assistant for SU, where she is the Coordinator
of the Lynn Collegium which serves as a "home away from
home" for first and second year commuter students. She
also coaches a select AAU 7th grade basketball team with girls
from the Seattle area. |

Kasia
Benson
Kasia is in her final year of the JD/Master
of Science in Finance joint program at Seattle U. She earned
her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in
Seattle, and in May she will move to Texas to begin her career
at a Dallas law firm. She is sad to be leaving the Northwest,
but is looking forward to substantial sunshine and barbecued
beef brisket |

Ben Vidic
Ben is in his final year of law school at Seattle
University. Prior to enrolling in law school he completed an
M.P.A. from Indiana University in Bloomington. He is currently
working for a law firm in West Seattle that performs insurance
subrogation and traffic infraction defense. |

Ministry Representative
Martha
Tanner
Martha Tanner is in her second year at the
School of Theology and Ministry. Prior to returning to school
to study for a Master of Divinity degree, she worked as a chemist
in the petrochemical industry. She moved here from Texas, and
finds the climate of the Northwest all-around more agreeable.
There is less rain (really!), less heat, and less Bush. |

Wongpaisaljaroen
Pong is originally from Bangkok, Thailand,
a country with the most beautiful beaches. He got a Bachelor's
degree in Food Technology from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand
and came to Seattle to get his MBA. This is Pong's second and
last year at SU. He will graduate in Summer 2007. Pong also
works as a Collegium staff at McNulty Collegium, the one for
Engineering and Nursing undergraduate students. He mostly spends
his free time playing sports, watching movies, and playing video
games.

Michele
Murray
In July 2006, Dr. Michele Murray joined Seattle
University as Assistant Vice President for Student Development.
In this role, she provides leadership for engaging students
in co-curricular activities that enhance their intellectual,
spiritual, and emotional development. She also supervises departments
that facilitate student involvement, including New Student and
Parent Programs, Leadership Development, Commuter and Transfer
Student Services, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Student
Activities. Prior to her appointment at SU, Dr. Murray developed
an affinity for Jesuit higher education at Loyola College in
Maryland where she served as the Director of Leadership &
New Student Programs and Assistant Director of Student Activities.
She received her Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership from
the University of Maryland, her master’s degree in Higher Education
and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont
and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Rhetoric & Communication
Studies, from the University of Virginia. Dr. Murray’s research
interests include student self-responsibility in achieving academic
success, the effects of student involvement on self-concept,
and the impact of diversity on students’ personal and intellectual
growth and development. |
