Dr. Ridgway was the Dean of the Seattle University School of Nursing from 1968-1977. The intent of this fiscal resource is to emulate her work and vision. Financial support is given in the hope of fueling leadership development through empowering student involvement in community outreach, service and civic efforts.

The Ridgway Outreach Scholarship (sponsored by Alpha Sigma, Sigma Theta Tau) has been awarded since 1997 to undergraduate and graduate students who are committed to community outreach. The scholarship also assists our students to develop leadership skills, while supporting their professional growth in research and scholarship.
