Seattle U STM Courses are offered three ways: summers, weekdays, and weekends. A combination of these scheduling options determine the rate of completion of a degree. Internships, practica, spiritual direction, retreats, and independent studies allow commuting student to complete some of their educational experiences in their own geographical areas. Occasionally, the Relationship and Pastoral Therapy program (MARPT) will have courses that slightly deviate from the schedule noted below.

Summer: The summer schedule offers one-week, two-week, and weekend intensives. Courses meet on-campus daily and are scheduled all day long (9am-4pm), mornings (9am-12pm), or afternoons (1pm-4pm).

Weekdays: Weekday courses are offered on-campus in weekly three-hour sessions during fall, winter, and spring quarters. The average class meets 9-10 times per quarter. Courses are scheduled in mornings (9am-11:50am), afternoons (1:30pm-4:20pm), and evenings (5:45pm-8:35pm).

Weekends: Weekend courses consist of a total of two weekends per quarter and meet Saturdays (8:30am-4:30pm) and Sundays (8:30am-4pm).
