Pre-Requisite Program
STM offers this program as a foundation for anyone interested in theology and ministry. The courses meet the admissions requirement of two undergraduate theology classes. Each class is $50. Class size is limited, so reserve a spot by enclosing your check payable to STM at least one week prior to the starting date of your choice of class(es). INTRODUCTION TO SCRIPTURE STUDY:
“What’s a pericope?”
Kathryn Rickert, MDiv, Ph.D.
This prerequisite course will help people learn to read the Scriptures with a variety of techniques including form critical, historical critical, and literary critical. In addition, it will offer a quick overview of the whole of the Scriptures. This course is recommended to any student planning to take Hebrew Scriptures in the Fall. “Please bring at least one Bible (two are preferred) to the first session!
