Post Master's Certificate in Pastoral Counseling

This program is designed for people who have successfully completed graduate degrees in theology/ministry and seek to add coursework in counseling theory and clinical practice as part of the process of becoming licensed mental health counselors and/or certified pastoral counselors.
Students entering this certificate program must have on the transcript of their previous master’s level theology degree the equivalent of the following courses:
1. STMM 553 Pastoral Care Skills;
2. STMC 554 Group Counseling Theory and Techniques; and
3. STMA 561 Psycho-Spiritual Development.
