On April 27th, Seattle University will host a
conference presented by 350 Seattle, Compassionate Seattle, and the
Backbone Campaign. There will be a focus on anti-oppression work,
homelessness and housing, at-risk youth, compassionate education,
health, alternative economies, and other facets of economic justice, as
well as the many levels of what we can do locally about the climate
emergency, and what climate justice is all about.
Lisa Gustaveson, staff Program Manger for the school's Faith & Family Homelessness Project is team-teaching a workshop, "Housing &
Homelessness: Compassionate Responses."
