Academic/Professional Experience
I have been a practicing pastoral psychotherapist for 30 years. I also teach graduate level clinical courses and train professional pastoral counselors and psychotherapists.
I am a registered counselor in the State of Washington, Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, trained in mindful coaching, candidate for Approved Supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, ordained American Baptist minister, and hold a PhD in Psychology and Pastoral Counseling.
I have assisted the Martin Luther King Jr. Christian Church in Reston, VA. to develop an organizational structure and ministries.
